Our Story

At Lucky 13 Rock and Commercial Construction, LLC, we are dedicated to
creating sustainable waterways and preserving the natural beauty of our rivers. Our
journey began in Long Lane, Missouri, where our family has farmed for
generations.
We noticed that the Niangua River, a cherished local landmark, was suffering due
to an excess of river rocks. These rocks were choking the river, turning it into a
creek and hindering activities like fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Determined to
make a difference, we decided to start harvesting these rocks.

By removing and repurposing the rocks, we aim to restore the Niangua River's
flow, ensuring it remains a vibrant and enjoyable space for everyone. The
harvested rocks will be sold for commercial and non-commercial landscaping
projects throughout Missouri and surrounding areas, promoting both environmental
stewardship and community improvement.

Dr. Glynis Leigh Castaneda, DO, MS, aged 28, is a distinguished graduate of Kansas City University, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree on May 3, 2024. As a proud member of the Cherokee Nation, Glynis honors her heritage by wearing a stole representing her tribe. Her academic journey includes a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, completed in May 2020 at KCU, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a pre-medicine focus from the University of Kansas, achieved in 2017.
In addition to her medical career, Dr. Castaneda is the owner of Lucky 13 Rock and Commercial Construction, LLC, a company dedicated to sustainable rock harvesting and commercial construction. Her leadership in this venture exemplifies her commitment to environmental preservation and responsible business practices.

Stephanie Castaneda is the owner of Lucky 13 Rock and Commercial Construction, LLC, where she leads efforts in sustainable rock harvesting and commercial construction. A graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in Social Work, Stephanie brings a unique blend of compassion and strategic thinking to her business endeavors. Her academic background and commitment to community well-being enhance the company's focus on responsible sourcing and environmental stewardship. Stephanie's leadership in Lucky 13 Rock and Commercial Construction, LLC, exemplifies her dedication to creating a positive impact both in her industry and her community.

Giancarlo Castaneda is currently pursuing a geological degree from Kansas University, leveraging his academic background to enhance the operations of GG'S Alpaca Farm, LLC, and Lucky 13 Rock and Commercial Construction Company, LLC. His expertise in geology supports sustainable farming practices and eco-friendly rock harvesting methods. Giancarlo's deep understanding of geological formations and sustainable resource management is crucial for the company's commitment to environmental preservation and responsible sourcing. Through his education and practical application, Giancarlo aims to lead initiatives that improve natural resource utilization and contribute to the company's growth in sustainable industries.
